Relocation is available for the ideal candidate,.Summary:The Sr Financial Analyst is responsible identifying and tracking Cost Savings, Forecasting, Costing, all Financial Reporting and complex Financial Analysis.This position reports directly to the Plant Controller but requires significant interaction with operational staff.Additional responsibilities include:* Performs economic/financial research and analyses as assigned for use in development of business strategies and in subsequent analyses of results. * Handles/leads completion of ad-hoc questions/ issues/projects as they arise. * Month End Close & Corporate Reporting Activities; Forecasting; Internal Controls; Costing / Internal Reporting; Financial Analysis; and Budgeting * May be responsible for coaching of less-experienced Financial Analysts. Requirements:* Minimum: Masters Degree in a Finance/Business-Related, or Bachelors Degree in a Finance/Business-Related field + 2 or more years of related work experience, or High School Diploma/GED + 9 years of related work experience * Preferred: Masters Degree in Finance/Business-Related field + 1 or more years of related work experience + CPA/CMA Certification, or Bachelors Degree in a Finance/Business-Related field + 5 or more years of related work experience + CPA/CMA Certification * Strong Cost Accounting experience is required.* Ability to communicate/work across functional areas, i.e.: Operations, HR, etc. * Must have strong PC skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Proficient knowledge of ERP and other financial planning systems is required, with SAP experience preferred. * Must have strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills and be detail-oriented. This position works in office environment and plant manufacturing with frequent PC use. * Must have the ability to manage conflicting/changing priorities with tight deadlines. * Extended working hours is often required.
